WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words . It’s open for anyone to join in and is a great way to share what you’ve been reading! All you have to do is answer three questions and share a link to your blog in the comments section of Sam’s blog.

The three W’s are:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

Blurb: In the 18th century, Dawnay Price is an anomaly. An educated foundling, a woman of science in a time when such things are unheard-of, she overcomes her origins to become a natural philosopher. Against the conventions of the day, and to the alarm of her male contemporaries, she sets sail to Portugal to develop her theories. There she makes some startling discoveries – not only in an ancient cave whose secrets hint at a previously undiscovered civilisation, but also in her own heart. The siren call of science is powerful, but as war approaches she finds herself pulled in another direction by feelings she cannot control.’

Blurb:‘The book promises “twist after twist” to catch readers off-guard in a “haunting portrayal of the darkest shades of obsession”. Bierwerth said: “The Girl Before is a stunning psychological thriller which amazes me most in its utter uniqueness and the way it injects new energy into a genre that has become so hugely popular. It is fresh and different and it will genuinely surprise anyone who picks it up. We’ll have such fun making this the debut launch for autumn 2016”.’

    1. I am just writing the review for Angelborn. It is only a short book, but I did enjoy it. I wasn’t sure at first whether to request a copy or not because Angel stories can be such a hit and miss sometimes I find. It was good though…when I am not so swamped I might get the second one 🙂
